The biggest, tax free lottery in Europe

The best way to play the Euromillions lottery is to join a syndicate. By being in a syndicate, you have more chances of winning the jackpot (and any other prize for that matter). Since the euromillions jackpots are substantially higher than most other lotteries, then does it really matter that you might share, say, £50million with 30 other people? I'd prefer a realistic chance of winning £1million to not a cat in hells chance of winning £50million.

There is little point in buying a ticket on your own (it costs £1.50 in the UK) as the odds of winning are so remote it's very nearly money down the drain. If you join a well managed international lottery syndicate (such as operated VWD) then you will dramatically increase your chances of winning a substantial prize.

Why worry about trying to win a £70million jackpot all to yourself? Surely it's far better to play the euromillions lottery and actually stand a chance of winning a sum of money that will make a big difference to your life rather than holding out for a sum of money that quite honestly, most people would struggle to spend in a lifetime!

So, if you're not into syndicates:

You can buy tickets at UK, French and Spanish lottery retailers.

The first draw was held on Saturday 7th February 2004

You pick 5 numbers between 1 and 50 and a further 2 "Lucky Star" numbers between 1 and 9.

The UK playslip lets you play up to 4 draws in advance.

Surprisingly, there is no age limit to buying a Euro Millions ticket in France, whereas you have to be at least 16 years old in the UK and at least 18 years old in Spain.
